On-Site Program Evaluation

An on-site program evaluation involves a half-day at the school, where I meet with leaders, teachers and parents, conduct walkthroughs and observe classroom instruction. I use tools I have created specifically for the purpose of program evaluation. I then draft a 4- to 5- page report of my observations and recommendations, which I submit a week later. Once school leaders have had a chance to read the report, we schedule a follow-up conversation to talk through some of the key recommendations.

How can we best support our teachers?

Is our program rigorous?

How can we address the needs of all learners?
